I recently seen this gun at my local Dicks Sports, I hadnt seen or heard anything about this rifle previously, but it immediately got my attention because I had a 700ADL wood stock in 22-250 years ago and it shot like a house on fire with factory ammo, I held one and immediately liked the medium heavy barrel it had and since Im still a Remington guy at heart I pretty much took a liking to it, my question is there anybody out there who has had any firsthand experience with this rifle??good or bad, would like to buy a camo rifle after I get the holidays behind me and would like to know if its something I should consider. Thanks

I bought this exact rifle in 308 several weeks ago. So far I have been very impressed. Even with the "Remington" scope it came with I was able to obtain .69moa using 150gr Remington Core Lokt ammo. With the rebates this rifle cost me $419.

I had a strange feeling not many people knew of it, the only place I seen it was at Dicks Sports and I heard nobody talking about it anywhere, for those who dont know they also offer it in 223 and 22-250, Thanks for the report nice to know Remington still can produce some shooters.

I thought Remington had discontinued the ADL version of the 700? O well wouldn't be the first time I was wrong about something.

Not sure if this is a limited run, maybe just for Dicks Sports, I havent seen them anywhere else, nice looking/feeling rifle at a reasonable price, still not ruling out a Savage if I decide to go in that direction next year.

I got one in the spring at walmart, about 400.00 scoped. The stock is stiffer
than a lot of other plastic ones I have seen and very light. Gun holds an inch
to 1 1/8. It's in .243

Yes the stock is stiffer compared to others such as the regular Savage stock. The barrel does not free float. With the groups I was able to achieve with mine, I almost a little leary to go changing anything on it.

I like my 700's And had bought one from Wall Mart FOR $497, when I was on a trip in a ADL SYN CAMO 24" MO OAK BREAK-UP, 243 win. Make sure it has the new x-mark pro trigger in it. This rifle came with a 3-9 scope. I am not sure about the barrel, but I dont think it was a medium heavy barrel The camo looked good, but I think wood is better. It dint have the J lock. With 100 gr factory loads shooting off the bench It would hold a 8" group at 250 yds. Save your money and look for the best deal
