remington 700 sps tactical 16.5 .223

I have one in the factory stock that has been bedded and reinforced by the previous owner . I don't reload and I shoot 55 grain Hornady V Max factory ammo . At 100 yards it stays right around 1'' . I have it sighted about 1.5'' high at 100 yards and it shoots pretty much dead on at 200 yards with a slightly wider grouping . I have killed everything I have shot at so it's good enough for me . 200 yards is a long shot in the areas I hunt . The gun has been 100% reliable functionally in the year and a half I have owned it . I ran a lot of cheap ammo thru it at targets without a hiccup . My nephew has one also and with his hand loads shoots sub 1'' groups at 100 yards .

Shot some 3 shots groups today, now I'm gonna tweak seating depth, load 5 of each and see what it will do.
Not to bad so far!

I had the one with the 20" barrel in 9 twist. It loved those 68 and 69 gr HPBT with RE 15 and Varget. Somewhere in the 23 to 24 grain load. It would shoot clover leaf groups at 100 yards. Actually, it ate everything from 40's to 69's without complaint. I even used it in F Class with the 68's for 300 500 and 600 yard.

Yes,I think I'm gonna tweak the 25.3 with varget load
I have a savage .223 with a shilen barrel and it loves this load
I think the reloader 7 with sierra 52 bthp has potential to

I have the exact same gun. Shooting 75 hornady hpbt with a case full of varget. Great shooter considering some people gripe about the stock on them. Thought about getting the 308 in the same gun.
