I just bought a remington 887 chambered all the way up to 3 1/2.My question is what choke constriction should I start out with? I will be using 3inch #4 buckshot, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Start at the bottom and work your way up. IC, Mod, Full. Lots of shots on lots of paper to find what your particular gun shoots best. It is fairly common for shotguns to prefer a more open choke with buckshot, Modified or even IC.
