Remington Factory Sendero Stock

BTW, I called Remington and the guy said that B&C never made any of their stocks, then I called B&C and they said they provide them with a bunch.

???????

HS Precision made the original Sendero stocks. B&C does supply Remmy with a number of stocks such as the lVSF and such. I'm not sure if Remmy switched suppliers with the newer Sendero.

I have one of the newer Senderos and the stock is definitely H-S.

.

Remington gets their spec stocks from B&C for the LVSF, Titanium mountain. They use HS for their heavy barreled varmint rigs and the laminate stocks are from Boyd's.

More Info:

I read on several forums that B&C made some of them.

I called Remington and whoever answered the phone said he was not aware of anyone but HS making them, and definitely not B&C.

I called HS and they said they could not tell me either way.

I called B&C and the lady put me on hold for 5 min and chased down information, then she said that they and HS both made them. She said the way to tell was in the "face of the lug" which i guess is just in front of where the lug sits, there is an additional indention. She said that theirs is in the shape of an oval while the HS is in the shape of a circle.

Who knows who is giving me correct info, but the B&C representative at least appeared to put some effort into the search.

The circle oval thing is correct. BC did do some of the varmint rifle stocks a while back. Also the new long range tactical xcr seems to have the new BC stock.

YEP, circle is HS and oval is B&C. That I got FROM A REMINGTON CUSTOMER SERVICE REP. Don't know why one would say different now. They told me they had to contract out with B&C also since demand exceeded supply at the time.
