I just bought a 700 ADL in 30-06 one of the reasons i bought it was that it was a package type deal. It came with a Remington 3-9X40 scope mounted and zeroed. I have only been able to test fire it once with ten rounds so far since I got it. I is very accurate so far at 100 yards, 1.5 os so with some old handloads I had laying around. My question is, can any one tell me who makes the Remmington brand scope? At first I thought it was a Simmons, I have a Savage model 10 that came the same way. But this scope is a lot brighter and clearer right to the edge of the FOV. I am wondering of it may be a Burris or Nikon? Since they both have been known to lable product for differant companies like Cabella's. Any help would be great, Thanks

It still could be a Simmons, they make several grades of them. I've got a few that are nice and bright, but tikanavel is probably right. If it shoots ok and looks ok thru it then use it.

Thanks, I was sort of thinking it was Bushnell. if is continues to be as accurate as when I first shot it it will stay, if it starts loseing zero I will replace it. I am not a brand whore I keep thinks that work and replace things that don't
