Remington Model 750 Woodsmaster

The long-running Model 7400 semi-auto is being replaced by the Woodsmaster 750. The 750 has improved ammo-feed reliability.

I have only had experiance with 1 in .30-06. It shot OK as long as You did not let the barrel heat up, The first 2 shots from a cold barrel would be right on, after that /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif.
The point of impact varried drasticly from one load and bullet weight to the next. If you buy one pick a factory load and stick with it. Take some time sighting it in, don't let the barrel get warm. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif The gun belonged to My hunting partner. His method was don't worry about the first shot I have two more clips in my pocket, and can shoot till they are out of range. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif His trips to Montana would take 5 or 6 boxes of shels for an antelope, and a few deer. I rebuilt an old Remington 700 .30-06 for Him. On our trip to Mantana we shot 2 antelope, and 7 deer with 11 shots between us. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

Pass on the Remington semi-auto and go for the Remington pump action 7600. The 7600 is accurate and reliable. If a semi-auto is a must have, save the pennies for a Browning BAR.
