Remington's new R-15 VTR

Has anybody had a chance to shoot one of these yet?

I was wondering how they would compair to a varmint grade AR 15, they seem about the same price from what I have seen.

How much are you guys paying for a well built AR 15 for Predator hunting?

I've hit on this many times before, a predator rifle is not a varmint rifle. Many of the Varmint rifles have far heavier barrels than are necessary for a predator gun. The R15 has a slimer barrel contour than a Varmint AR would have. Since you are not likely to need to take many rapid fire shots, as compared to shooting at Prairie Dogs, you don't need the heavy countour of a true Varmint contour rifle. Why carry around more weight than you actually need to carry.
