Rem's new 35 gr Hornet load. Appears to be a 35 gr V-Max type.

Sight in at 100 yds with my Anschutz HB Hornet. 5-shot group pretty good.

Very nice, it does look like the little 35v-max. Hornady uses it in their ammo too. Problem is.....it getting to cost alot to buy hornet ammo off the shelf, so I roll my own!

Good shootin' /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

It is really hard to believe how much ammo has gone up!

I completely agree, its lame, although there is one type of federal ammo thats about 11-13 a box for .243 so for me for now that will have to do, until i get a different rifle or something...

Tod, to give eveyone a chance to check it out before it goes away in order not to have to seach for it or bring it back up from request. All 3 will be unstuck shortly.

I concur with rolling your own hornet rounds.
I use calhoons 37 gr dbbl hp slick silver over lil gun powder.
Squeeks about 2800 fps and bangflops just about
everything iv'e ever shot with it. Love the Hornet.
Most factory ammo never shot well in my hornet. but
rolling my own i can get sub moa with it .Which for the hornet is good.
