replacement barrel for Reminton 870 SPS

I have a Remington 870 SPS, camo'd turkey gun with 23" barrel. I would like to get a fully rifled barrel with cantilever scope mount for deer hunting...will any Remington 870 barrel fit fit this gun? Will an 870 express fully rifled barrel be good to go on an SPS or do I have to stick with one made for a SPS?

Any 870 barrel will fit any other 870 as long as it is the same gauge. My barrel on my old 2 3/4 only 870 will fit on my sps 3 1/2 870.

Dont know about 870,but 11-87 barrels with fit,the sps and reg 11-87 BUT THEY WONT WORK.The sps is a 3 1/2 chamber,and reg is only 3in.

There is a light contour version of the 11-87 too.

There is a pic of the barrel lugs of three 870 barrels. One is my 3 1/2" sps, one is a 3" chamber, and the last is a 2 3/4" chamber. Note the lugs are the same. The last pic is a 3" chambered slug barrel on my 870 sps. An 870 barrel is an 870 bareel.
