I use muzzy 100 gr. blades, anyway I cant find any ( JUST ) replacement blades,im not cheap an im afraid of using blades from prior years.they are are in there plastic containers as they came home in,sealed if you will, not exposed to air or touched.I personally buy blades every year an replace with new ones,I feel its only its only fair to the animal to have my best blade to make a clean kill.i think I babble I hope you get my point?

The blades are packaged with some rust inhibitor on them so if you have unopened packs I would assume they are still factory fresh and sharp. I also use the 3 blade muzzy.

Lets see....
You use muzzy heads, but can't find any replacement blades . You change blades every year even though they are not used ?

Wasting money you are.

I cant see how unused blades properly stored would dull on their own.Even if they did if you can sharpen them back up.I tried Muzzy heads way back around when they first came out.At that time they had their own adjustable sharpener on the market.I'm not sure if it's still available but there's plenty of others that will do the job.

Get a diamond stone and get busy, if you arent good with doing things by hand get a knife sharpener jig thingy. I resharpen mine to shaving sharp.

Nope. I don't get your point. This makes about as much sense as a guy not using his ammunition for hunting if it's over a year old. But as has been said, it takes all kinds to make the world go round.

Babble away.

Hey Brotha: use the "old" unused blades .. If you haven't shot them into a target or animal they are good to go ... Blades left setting are going to be just fine.. I appreciate your attitude toward a humane and quick kill. That being said unused blades left over from previous years will perform ... Now I'm starting to BABBLE!! Must be contagious !!
