Rguns

nope ordered a bolt carrier from them towards the end of december. I recieved a email saying thanks for the order but that is it. It said it was in stock....

My friend order alot of BCG before christmas and hasn't seen any of them after they told him over the phone when he ordered they had them in stock.

I'm waiting on a bcg from rguns and one from Brownells. Ordered the one from Brownells in Nov and rguns in Dec. Haven't seen anything from either one. My guess is it will be a few more weeks, maybe months, before I actually see them.

I ordered a complete upper from rguns dec. 11 with a 20" superbull barrel. I received my order dec. 19, 8 days later. I ordered the day before the shooting occurred though. As far as quality they are top notch IMO and my upper will do 1/2 in groups all day long at 100 provided i do my part.

I understand where you guys are coming from on waiting, but i wouldn't lay blame on the company at this point, they say in stock but they might not have an.exact # and they may have had enough in stock to supply the 300 orders beforehand.

The way things have been for the last month, i hope to heck you didn't think you would receive it in a week? Unless you buy from a store or individual who has it on hand, i wouldn't expect it for months if you even get it

What i see as the problem is rguns lists items as IN STOCK online and i really dont care how many ordes you have to fill it wont take 4 weeks to ship an item that is sitting on shelves. They say they dont charge you card till items ship, if they had them in stock why would they want to wait 4 weeks to get paid??? They are not, th items arent in stock or they would be shipped asap so the company can make money.

Google "BBB report on Rguns" and you find lots of examples on why to be cautious.

Business had 8 complaints? Against how many thousand satisfied customers? Find me those statistics

First, do a bit of research to understand how the BBB operates. You really think that 8 complaints alone against a business would get them an F rating? With that mentally then basically all companies would have an F rating. Don't be so naive.

I am not pro or anti Rguns (read, I really don't care) but rather only presented what is not a secret with the company; Rguns has a less than stellar reputation. Obviously hit a nerve with you though.

No I didn't expect to have it in a week, I was just stating that I placed an order 1 week ago. I saw they had a coplete bolt carrier group, that didnt say out of stock and took a chance.

Guy's settle down. My brother ordered 2 lowers from them the Monday after the school shooting. He got them in 2 weeks. He has an upper on order that he placed almost a week later than the lowers. He has not received them yet. Can you imagine how many orders got placed between his two orders? So some one places an order for a BCG and wants it NOW before an order that was placed earlier for a complete upper with a BCG? The complete upper takes time for them to put together. Do you think it would be easy for them to keep orders straight if they did not process them in the order they received them? Do you get where I am going hear? It is not as easy as some of you think it is to just ship out your orders. Hang on you will get them when your order # comes up to process.

FYI. I have no affiliation with them besides my bro buying some parts from them.

Nope, not at all, i just dont understand the fuss. In a normal situation i would completely understand the fuss but, I don't think people realize the sheer magnitude of the number of parts ordered within just that 2 week time period. With hundreds of parts being ordered per day vs. Actual inventory with the addition of spur of the moment, unforeseen mass confusion, short handedness, and nation wide panic. i think there are alot more factors in play here. One big thing is if they contract out to anyone, or if they are contracted through anyone, they may have had the part in stock until the contractor/contractee called then they have no control. For example : you call Remington arms and order an 870, the next day Walmart calls Remington and orders 2000 Remington 870's, your not getting yours until the order is filled. And its not just rguns its everyone who carries parts that are essential to function a black gun.

Im not trying to come off as an arse. Im new to the sight and love the wealth of info here and people willing to share it. I wouldnt think it matter if i had 28 post or a whopping 167, but If there is a thread pertaining to the number of days a new member has to be here before they can comment on a thread, direct me to it and i will gladly oblige.

Point is there were hundreds of thousands of uppers and bcg ordered in a 2 week, time period. With only so many available and machines are running 24 hrs a day to get caught up with the panic. Sorry if i roughed any feathers it was not intentionally
