I did, could'nt come up with much......

I have bought 3 of them. IMO they do good work. They can make about anything you want. Just look at the one below if you do not believe that. I just received one for basically the same rifle you want one for. The exception is that mine is left handed and a 22 magnum. The main problem I have with Richard's is that they are slow. Very slow. But there prices for what you receive are exceptional!! That is probably why they are so busy. Tom.

If you spec one out, expect to wait a long time. However, look at the closeouts and discounts. There are many already made up for a multitude of rifles.

they dont answer the phone and they dont return emails. Expect alot of difficulty getting in touch with them then they will put you on hold for a very long time. Then expect to wait up to a year for the stock. Other than that they do really good work. Heres a lefty thumbhole I waited for for almost a year. Being a montana action and needing a thumbhole laminate my choices were pretty limited it is however a really nice stock.

I bought a tachdriver for the 10/22 and it took 8 months to get it. And when I recieved it I was not happy at all. The inletting was terrible and my stock had a slight curve to it. I put 6 to 8 hours of finish work in it and gave up on the thing. I would buy something else if you dont want to wait forever and do a ton of work.

Never heard any complaints. Had a buddy get a tac driver for his 10/22 from them and it was excellent. I just ordered a cascade classic for my 243. I had no problems getting them to answer during normal business hours. Got the stock on sale and they said it would be 6-8 weeks. They do usually come unfinished and need a bit of work from what I understand. Couldn't find a better deal on a stock.

I recieved a Tac Driver for my Savage Muzzleloader, and it was here in the quoted time of 8 to 10 weeks. They ARE hard to contact, but for the price, I'll take it. I had a few "special" things done, but it still met the quoted time. I'm pretty happy with it, and will probably get one for my Sendero at some point.

Bull....that is by far and away the worst company I have dealt with in my 62 years. Stay away from them. Horrible service. One stock may be mediocre and the next downright junk. I got one, had plenty of troubles and it took way longer than they said it would. So, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered another one. Boy, was I stupid! I get ticked just thinking about it. Do yourself a favor, go out and beat yourself on the head with a hammer. The result will be more satisfactory than dealing with them. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif

I ordered a cascade classic for my Sako L461 action. Of course, this is a "non-standard" action, and had to pay an extra setup fee and wait...and wait....and wait. IIRC correctly, took about 10 months from when I placed my order to receipt of the stock. I asked for a better grade of wood, but the grain is nothing spectacular. It finished up o.k., but is nothing to write home about. Then again, I didn't pay much for it either! I don't think they deserve some of the comments I've read here.

Yes, my first restocking project was for a Browning Medallion. The wait for the stock was around 90 days. I was told this up front when I placed the order. Walnut and Maple, Monte-Carlo or "Roll Over Custom", 90% inlet and a lot of fun working the interior and exterior dimension the way I wanted, finished and glassbed the action. I forgot the price but it was very affordable.

I never tried calling customer service so I don't know about that.

I would not hesitate to buy again from them. Just don't be in a big hurry.

Grizzlyone here.
Back in the 80's I drove up there to look at stocks.
All I can say is the dude running the place at the time,
Richard? was strange. Gave me the creeps. I had to bail.
Didn't like the stocks anyway. Rick
