Hey I am looking at buying one of the Tuff Lights nite hunter 170 kits. How far can you see with one of these lights with red lense on and tell what your a looking at? Also does this kit come witht he stock switch to turn it on and off with? Thanks
 
Hi Snakehollow Joe,

You can see for around 300 yards w/red lens on light,set on beam the light is adjustable, it works like a mag light roll the head all the way in for beam light and roll head out for a flood light and everything inbetween...........

To see just what your going to shoot and know what it is when your shooting at,depends on terrain you need to bring it to you so you dont shoot a deer,dog,cow or some other farm animal. Put light directly on them to verfie its a Yote or What ever your looking for...............you will see eyes light up for a long way............

The Scope light has a Inline switch and also has a BPS switch on battery bag also so you really have two ways to turn off and on...............The BPS is a Reo-stat it will make your 8 Amp battery last longer...........

Kit also comes with a Battery charger for your car/truck....do not charge your InterState Battery longer than (7) Hours orit could damage the Battery..........

LOL RICK, I am will see how much money I have left after I get back from the weekend get away with the wife and little one this weekend. We are going to Carowins in Charlette Nc. I believe I will spend about a half of day there and then spend the next 3 days in the Bass Pro Shop lol. We don't have one of them around here in southwest Va. lol.

You will like Bass Pro Shop, Its like a Huge wal-mart but only for the outdoors..........After you go there you might be moving to Charlette NC.........They carry a lot of hunting stuff, ours here in Fort Laurdale is on about 15 acres.unbeliveable to see from I-95 and sterling Road.....Take your credit cards, your gona-need them............LOL.....

Hi smallblockfuelie,

The Houseings on the web site fits all Lightforce Lighting Bases...............

Lets say you have a spot light 170 w/100 watt blub glo-6............your candle watt power is 530,000........

Now you replace the Houseing with a 240 Houseing, by rolling the head off,the same way you would if you were to change the bulb, with the 240 houseing you have just increased your light power by 470,000 cwp,same bulb and Housing your total CWP is 1,000,000 (one Millon)defined pure light,put a 240 red lens on it and see the yotes eyes in the next county...........

This does not apply to the 140/170 Night Hunters, it would fit on base,but no room for huge houseing on the rifle,shotgun.........and auto re-coil would not work,nor-warrented.........

Like the walkabouts,you could change the houseing to the 240 and increase its power to 500,000 from the 230,000 with the 30 watt bulb................

This Includes all driving Lights except the XGT"s and Hid"s
