Just curious what you shoot out of this gun. I've been messing around with 65g gamekings, 69g matchkings, 53g v-max, and now 60g nostler balistictip varmints. powders I've used are IMR4198, benchmark, varget, and h-335. I've gotten decent results but nothing I've really been all that impressed with. I would like to be accurate out to at least 300 yards, preferably a 2-3" group, and right now its not quite there. That could definitely be operator error though. My goal for this gun is to have every hole touch at 100 yards, 1-2" group at 200 and 2-3" at 300.

Mine shoots the hornady factory superformance good. In fact it shoots all factory ammo good. I don't mess with any bullets over 55 grain though. Don't see the need for it.

I think you are asking to much out of a non custom, semi auto gun. A 2 or 3 inch group at 300 yards out of a factory bolt gun can be tough to do consistently.

My RRA Coyote Carbine (16") really likes the 53 and 60 gr.v-max with a charge of Benchmark. I tried some Tac, which was so-so. Benchmark produced the best accuracy and velocity. However, I haven't shot past 200 yds with it.

I've shot 55,60,65,69 out of mine and they have all grouped under 1" at a 100,I haven't tried fine tuning it for anything other than the 55gr which cuts holes. Only powders I've used were imr 8208,benchmark and varget. My furthest kill was around 270yds with the 55gr hornady sp and 8208 which I shoot the most of.

I'm shooting 55 gr. V Max with 8208 XBR with half inch groups at a hundred yards with my RRA Predator Pursuit. Never tried a group at 300.

Another BIG factor in determining your accuracy is using a scope with plenty of power. I was reminded of this when trying out some factory and reloads in my new Tikka. Used a 21X target dot scope for 100/200 groups, and was pleasantly surprised with my groups. After trying all my loads, I installed a 4-12 std reticle hunting scope (for coyotes). Same ammo, groups really grew in size! Course my "older eyes" and tri-focals may play a part. If I had only used the 4-12 scope, I wouldn't be nearly as happy with the rifle and loads.
I'm sure your RRA has a decent trigger (mine is about 3 lbs), is accurate, so use a powerful scope especially shooting at 300 yards. Course you have to do your part on the trigger too! Be sure to post a follow-up on how things go.

As others have said. You are asking a lot out of a non-custom gun. But you should not have any issues with getting it to group 1/4-1/2in groups at 100yds. Which will equal what you are shooting for at 300 or slightly better. It also depends on what you have for a scope on it and what you have done to the trigger. I have had mine for 6 or 7yrs and it really likes 55gr nbt charged with h335 and set off with remington 7.5's. If you are trying to shoot tiny groups with a 3-9 or smaller scope you will have some issues getting small groups. If you are tryimg to shoot them with a barska or nc scope be happy with what you get. One other thing is that mine did not really come around until I had 200+ rounds down the tube.

A solid front and rear rest + high power scope + no wind + consistent hand loads + good shooting should = sub MOA with that gun. Keep after it, something will come together for you.

This is only 3 shots, but Benchmark and 52 gr Bergers have become the preferred load for my ATH (same barrel as yours, but 18"). I typically feel like it's my fault if the holes aren't touching at 100 yds.

Mine look like fishsqueezer. 16" 53 gr vmax benchmark 25.5.(3030 true fps) But it shoots like that with any amount of powder. I am amazed that it shoots so good. I'm no AR guy but I am becoming one! I would brag about a cheapo tikka shooting 1/2" or a little less but this will repeat .4s and some .3s.

Wow sounds to me like i just need to really keep playing with it. I have great glass on it, a nikon monarch 3 6-24x50mm SF fine crosshair with dot. As for the trigger, i still have the stock 2-stage national match trigger. I am looking to get a geissele SSA-E trigger for it. I'll have to test out the 55gr bullets a little more than I did, and I'll have to try some remmington primers. I mainly use Win small rifle primers, but I've tried Fed 205, Fed 205m, and CCI BR-4 primers. I worked up a load for the 53gr and they shot great the first time, but then I picked the best group and loaded that again and the 5 shot string wasn't good at all. Could have been my loading technique though. I did manage to take out a couple groundhogs with them though and they did some damage that's for sure. main reason I'm leaning towards getting the 60gr to shoot it for coyotes.

My 20" PP is shooting 1/2" 10-shot groups in a 100 Meter under ground range with 25.5gr charge of H-4895 behind a 55gr. V-Max, with a chrono speed of 3120fps.

Hope mine shoots that well. I just got a Predator Pursuit upper which I put on a D-Tech lower, haven't got it scoped yet or shot it. Had some outstanding results this weekend with 63 grain Sierra semi-pointeds over Varget in my Rem 700 tactical - that may be where I start work on the PP as well.

Awesome thanks! I'll definitely give it a try once it warms up here in Ohio.

I have 2 and they both shoot 60 grain Nosler ballistic tips with 26.5 grains of varget with a
Remington 7 1/2 primer.I'm using military brass and getting really great results. The coyotes and squirrels around here just hate those guns.I seat the bullets to just fit the magazine.

We have had a 100 meter Underground Rifle range up here in the North Country for about a year now, and it is awesome to be able to shoot all year in a controlled environment. Tonights low is supposed to get to -30, I plan to shoot in the morning in 70 degree T-shirt comfort in the tunnel. We were out yote hunting this morning at -5 degrees, and it turned into road hunting with about a 30mph wind to drive the wind chill down.
