I don't think this one is the same one as in the video from this morning, kinda looks smaller. Now that the snow has melted quite a bit they're beginning to show up pretty regular.
Anyway....he volunteered to christen my new Tikka 6.5 tonight. First coyote with a 6.5, and it is NOT fur friendly. To keep within the forum rules I'm not supposed to post the exit side, a bit too graphic, but trust me, it ain't pretty and as you can see he didn't go too far.

 
Congratulations on your first take with a 6.5! Is that CM or Grendel? Also wondering what load as I have options for both but have not taken either to the field for predator hunting. Oh, and the obligatory question- what optic are you running?

I have a few different loads I'm working up, but the one I used on him were 140 Nosler HPBT over IMR 4350. I've got some VMax I want to try out also.
Optic is an AGM Spectrum 4k LRF 3.5x - 28.
