rossi trail judge

*legally* it's a pistol. Officially, it's junk

I don't see where it would be very practical. It's not really a pistol or a rifle and looks like it would be awkward to try and use it as either. Wonder if they will make the next one in 28 gauge to match the new Taurus Judge coming out in that cartridge.

I don't really understand the concept either just found it kind of odd. On the other hand I wouldn't mind one of the circuit judges.

i have learned the hard way that with rossi you get what you pay for, every once in a while you will find one made to par with some good shooters.

My understanding is the Feds said NO GO to the 28guage Judge so it is no longer being looked at.

"The Trail Judge was shown at the SHOT Show last January. It was a cut down version of the Rossi Rio Grande lever action and according to the 2011 catalog chambered in .410. We talked to a Rossi representative today and we can confirm that the Trail Judge will not be produced. So for those who are looking into a more tactical version of the Mare’s Leg, they need to look for other alternatives."

I bought the boy a rossi 243 and 20ga single shot a few years back,
could not hit the broad side of a barn if you was locked in side of it.
I swore then to never own or buy anything rossi again.
O ya the combo gun case was and is the best part of the deal i use it for encores now.just my 2 cents of rant.
