I just cant seem to find them anywhere. Do they make them like that stock or do you have to convert a 10/22 magnum over to it? Also where would be a good place to look for one?

You will need to find a stock Ruger 10/22 Magnum and then buy an aftermarket barrel and stock to accommodate the larger diameter barrel... then you will want a smoother, lighter trigger, nice scope and mounts, etc..

Search E A Brown shooting supplies, Midway arms, or Green Mountain Barrels for the barrel info...

Goldengun, From what i have heard ruger dosnt make the 10/22 mag any more so you want to make sure you keep that thing in good shape . What i did was get a replacement stock so i didnt screw up the laminated one . you can find a replacement barrel at midsouthshooterssupply) , cheeper than dirt (even though there not cheeper) and I have just drawn a blank to an outher one but theres lots out there
I am tossing the idea around my self but i cant make up my mind if i want to stick with the 22 mag and up grade to a target barrel check ebay as well thats where i got my stock

Just for consideration, I did the math for a used 10-22 mag (around 600.00) add a good barrel, stock, trigger and other goodies it can really add up. I just broke down and bought a Volquartsen delux, this is a full custom rifle but not cheap.

Might be worth looking at though.
