Ruger Mark 1-Worth Anything?

I recently picked up a Stainless Ruger Mark 1 in a trade to my cousin. I was with him when he bought the gun a couple months ago. It is is great shape and the gun smith said it has had a trigger job. Also there has been a sight rail added by Simmons Gun Specialties. I was just curious if this might be worth something or is it pretty basic. Judging by the serial number the gun is around 25-30 years old. Any help is appreciated. Thanks Josh

Real junk ! send it to me and I will destroy it for you LOL!! Check ruger.com I have seen them recently go for anywhere from 200 to 500 depends on condition and how bad they want it.

A Ruger Mark 1 in stainless? Wow! That would be priceless! I mean, you have the only Mark 1 .22 Ruger in stainless ever made! Why, I would say that you could name your price!

Actually there were 5000 of them made as a 25th anniversary thing with Bill Ruger signature ingraved into the receiver. The one I have doesnt have his signature so it may not of came like this from the factory.

Ah! I stand corrected. Yes, I remember those now. I was thinking of the original Mark 1 Rugers of course. I forget that Ruger will on occasion make a limited run of certain gun or caliber. Tsk! Silly me! And I have had two limited production Rugers and still forgot. Getting old is not for the weak hearted!
