ruger rings question.

hello..actually i'm wondering if the ring-screw's can be replaced if needed...or upgraded to torx-head screw's...the reason i ask is i have a m77..& just mounted a scope...trying to be as careful as possable using a flat head screwdriver...i "somewhat" stripped the head of the screw..i think i can get it out alright..i don't feel confident i can re-tighten to my satisfaction..just wondering what my option's are ??

I believe Brownell's has replacement torx head or hex head screws for those rings. Any your right I havn't got one set that isn't buggered a little bit. Getting a screwdriver head that exactly fits the screws helps.

I did a campaign on replacing all of my Ruger ring screws with Torx screws, bought from Brownell's. The Ruger ring screws suck...

Best bet, buy some Warne Rings. They hold up on my friend's S&W 500 so I think they'll take [beeep] near anything!!!!
