RXM vs G45/G47

Been shooting Glocks since the 90's, the G45 is my favorite. Especially when paired with an upgraded trigger (Glock performance trigger or Apex) and a red dot optic. It just points really well for me and recoils like a sewing machine. The G47 is generally preffered over the previous G17 for competition use but typical users won't notice much difference between the two. The G47 will have sliiiiightly higher velocity than the G45 due to an extra half inch of barrel. The 47's extra half inch sight radius is irrelevent with a red dot optic. Can't go wrong with a Glock.

Not a fan of Rugers and never even seen the RXM.

I looked at the RXM, its a copy of the G19, too short of a grip for me. I picked up a G45 and it's pretty nice, shoots good. Definitely needs a better trigger.
Do you have the base glock performance trigger. I think they are around $90-100 ? Some of the triggers get really pricey and there's soo many . I want something light and reliable.

Glock isn't the only reliable polymer-frame striker-fired pistol in today's market. The Smith & Wesson M&P pistols are excellent handguns. As is the CZ10, Walther, HK, P365 series, FN, Shadow Systems, and Springfield, Glock is as good, but no better than any one of the pistols I mentioned. And yes, I have seen Glock pistols choke, jam, and break internal parts. I have carried Glock professionally, shot them in competition, and currently own several. They are not special, just another pistol in that genre.

Im familiar with all of those, carried a G21 for years while being a big bertha it always ran really good just down sizing. Occasionally tote a M&P Shield, great little tool too.
