I can't say the original CVA breech plug was that bad, but

the BH209 breech plug did fix a slow drift to the right

as the bore fouled problem with the original CVA breech

plug.  The clean bore shot with the original CVA was always

4-5" left of the point of aim, and on subsequent shots, it

drifted towards the point of aim.  The BH209 breech plug

shot 2" high on the clean bore shot, and then grouped 1.5-2"

at the point of aim.  This was with 295 gr. tipped Powerbelts,

Win 209 primer, and a near max. weighted charge of Blackhorn 209

powder, shot at 100 yards off a rest and rear bag. I am much

happier with the BH209 breech plug, but of course your mileage

may vary.
