I have the optima and shoot bh209 I can't remember if I had a point of impact change between the 2 breech plugs. With the original breech plug I got a lot hang fires when the temps got cold. The bh209 breech plug has been fine down in the low teens. I have found with my gun that the 300 grain 45cal xtp shot the best in a hornady black sabot. Messed around with a bunch of 44 cal bullets/sabots never got the consistancy that I have with the 300 grain xtp. My load is 90grain volume BH 209, cci 209m primer. This will group around 1.5 2 inches at 100 yards for me.
