Gang,
As I bow hunt, I have been several coyotes. Yesterday, I saw this girl in the morning. She saw me and vacated the scene. At 1 PM, I went back and she ran past my spy point camera as I cleaned up my ground blind, which was infested with mice. I vowed to return at dark because the farmer was cutting the hay field as I was perched for deer at the other end of the farm.
When I went back just before midnight (I was delayed), I saw a few canines mousing in the freshly cut field. I continued my approach and noticed one coyote vacating the scene. I quickly set up and played field mouse distress and the coyote turned around. I put on a nice shot with my 223!
