Saiga 410 semi auto conversion???

Whoever told you that, sold you a big lie. I have one....you cant do it. With that said, i love my S410. I left it stock and it has served me well.

Guns like these are hard to find in this area. A dealer I know had bought it 2 years ago but never put it up for sale so I bought it.

The dealer seemed to think the receiver and bolt face should be the same in the 410 as a 308 or 7.62 X 39. He had not done it before but compairing the two he did not see a problem. After I bought the gun I ask him if it counl be easily converted, much like the AR's, just to have 2 calibers for one gun.

The bolt most likely WONT fit, but it would require a barrel change and the action spring would be way too weak. The mag well would require extensive milling and it would in the end make it a piece of junk.

Just checked. 308 on my bolt and there is way too much wiggle. 7.62 vs.308, there is gonna be a rimmed vs rimless issue as well
