Sako A7 Rifle?

I have looked at them too since I really like Sako & Tikka. The A7 has a few improvements over the Tikka, better bolt, bolt release safety, better/stiffer stock, 5 shot 1 moa, metal feed lips on the mag. It also has a safety release on the mag where you have to push for release. They say less chance of loosing it the field. I could do without that feature, feels tricky at first.
Forgot a couple things the A7 has two action lengths with the .22-250 being short. I like the single stack mag.
The gun has a pretty solid feel and shoots good. Being a half breed between Sako/Tikka it is priced that way. I think the best price currently is around $720 with no promotions.

I personally would look for an older, NIB AII action Sako in 22-250. I have seen several Varmint AII's lately for around $1000. Better build quality and more desireable from a collectability standpoint. My $.02.

I have a Sako A7 in 243 and it is a really nice gun. I shoot 75 gr V-max's and it shoots honest .5 inch groups if I do my part. Its light, quick, and accurate. Its my go to rifle when I feel like using a bolt gun instead of AR's for coyotes. Btw I got a smoking deal on it at a Sportsmans warehouse that had a closeout on that particular rifle so I got it for 499. If it hadnt been for that I would have totally got a Tikka T3 Stainless. Good luck !!
