Saubier?

Saubier is (was?) about the only hunting/shooting forum besides this one I ever go to. It's been down for maintenance for a week or two now. Anyone here have any knowledge of the situation? I sure hope it comes back. The historical information alone there is amazing.

I think it’s been down for quite awhile. I haven’t had access to it for months. I was a member on there years ago and took a hiatus. I couldn’t access my account so it may have been deleted due to inactivity. I have no further knowledge..but it def was the forum of the gods of knowledge. If I couldn’t get an answer on here I’d surely get it there. Hopefully it resurfaces, or we learn what happened to it.

I haven’t been able to get in to it for a long time. Figured it must have gone away. That is to bad, there was a lot of info over there.

Varminter Online Magazine is pretty up to date with the small caliber stuff, but not much discussion other than some Facebook comments…not many other sources other than whatever pops up on here. I wonder if we will see Calhoon disappear within the decade.

I think we have too many subforums as it is. With .17 coyote bullets being hard to come by, I just don't think there is enough interest here, or maybe anywhere else for that matter.

I agree about the subforum. Not needed in order to discuss something.

To bad about the 17 interest though. I really like the 17 and 20’s. I have the Hornet, Fireball and Remington in the center fires. I have about 2500 of the Hornady 25 gr HP that I bought when Midway had them packaged in their own boxes.

you know its up to you to revive the 17 caliber ;) a 22, 20, and 17 caliber wildcat forum would be cool. its too bad 17's are what they are, so much fun, but its different cleaning rods, no borescope. limited bullets and barrels. you gotta be serious to mess with them.
