Savage 110 predator in 22-250

Just ordered this gun. Been looking for awhile and settled on this one. Never owned a 22-250, but have been wanting one for a while now. I'll have several options for which gun to take for coyotes, but I hope this will be my wide open, occasional 300 yard gun.

I have the 110 High Country in 6.5CM and its a hammer. Shoots little bitty groups. A local pawn shop has a used 110 pred in 22-250 that has me thinking about it. It wears a nice Leupold so the price is up there but it looks nice. Hoping it sells before I give in to it. Doubt you'll have any regrets buying it. Let us know how it shoots when you get it up and running.

You did well. Everyone that knows me will tell you that I am quite the Savage fan. Not an attractive gun by any means but accurate and strong. I have three varminters with Savage actions and three with Remington 700 actions and the Savages are out of the safe a lot more than the Remingtons are. I can handle a bit of ugly as long as they shoot as good as they do.

Plain maybe, ugly? Beauty is in the size of the group!

Ordered mine and it's been in but haven't had time to pick it up. Sold a Ruger in 22-250 and bought it to replace it as wanted a threaded barrel for the suppressors I have. Haven't shot it in a long time as do all my hunting with a pair of 18" AR .223's. One with a Hogster 35 and the other with a Pulsar Trail XP50 LRF. Would like to do some day time hunting out west with it someday and might try a little around here. Might put one of the Thermals on it also. Were are you at in NE.? I've hunted out there twice around Lincoln as my son is an engineer at the Lincoln ADM plant. Looks like a great factory rifle with many features, fluted, threaded barrel, adjustable stock, adjustable trigger, composite camo. stock. If it's a tack driver it will be an all out excellent value. Let me know how yours is and what you're ammo your shooting.
