savage 12

I am preparing to do a glass bedding job on a Savage model 12. I have tried to dremel all points of pressure around the tang and other parts. I notice that if I put the rear action screw in first and snug it down I am unble to get the front one in. but in revers if I put the front in first and snug it down the rear is able to be tightened. Is this a bedding problem or pressure problem?

Go to Savage Shooters. They have info on how to properly torque the action screws. The front action screw is supposed to be torqued first.
