Savage Accu-trigger question

I just replaced the accutrigger on a Model 10. I really have no idea if they work in an axis but if so I'd sell it for WAY less than the price that was on that link. Not sure how $100+ is cheaper than an accutrigger?

Yes a accu trigger will work in the axis but not 100% drop in. If u need help pm me and I will help. I have put one in my axis 22-250 and pull weight is 1.2 pounds

No experience, but have "read" about a guy that had paid $300 to a gunsmith for the conversion. I don't know what it'd take to do the conversion, rather a guy at home could do it or it'd be one of those things a guy wouldn't want to touch at home. If its one of those things you wouldn't want to do yourself and had to be smithed in, a $100 timney MAY be the better option.

Paying a gunsmith $300 would amount to extorsion for that job!!

A membership to Savage shooters forum would get you into all sorts of "temptations" ......... LOL! ..... and good info!!!

Well, I have a take off accu-trigger coming from one of the good guys here on the board.

Best part is, it is only going to cost me a package of cherry kool-aide. Heck, he's such a nice guy, said if I ruined the trigger he would send the kool-aide back PLUS $25.00 for my wasted time!

Now that's a good guy right there.

Anyways, imma gonna do the modifications to the trigger and install it. May or may not be happy with the results. Guess I'll know soon enough.

Thanks fellas.
