I am getting inconsistent cheek welds so I attempted to mount Burris z medium rings with a weaver rail on my axis but the bolt hits the scope ocular bell. Anyone have any tips for rectifying this?
I have a SWFA 3-15x42 SS mounted on my 6.5 Axis. Used a weaver multi slot base and Warne medium rings. I have changed the bolt handle to a glades armory. Handle does hit the zoom in pin when turned down to 3x but other than that there is plenty of clearance with eye piece. The glades bolt handle is shaped a little different than the original handle.

Thanks! I was wondering if that would fix the issue. Right now when I lift the handle it hits just past the zoom knob and then scrapes along the eye piece. I would say 4-5k difference. I thought about grinding down the old handle but it feels like cheap cast and I didn't want to weaken it.
