I have the Axis in .223. I did the simple fix first, changed the spring, etc.
I ultimately shot the lock off my wallet and bought the RifleBasix SAV-1. I paid $267 for the rifle and $84 or so for the trigger. Some folks ask why i just didn't buy a Savage 111 trophy combo for the same end result...truth is I don't know. What I do know is I'm really happy with my Axis now.
