Savage bolt handle removal

I wanted to change the bolt handle on my model 11. I can't budge it. I already ruined a 3/8 to 1/4 adapter trying to un-screw the nut. I had an end wrench on the handle as a cheater and a ratchet on the nut. My legs holding the barreled action and its not moving. Any suggestions??

Savage imported two Russian Womens Shot Putters to work on the line, one does barrel nuts and the other bolt nuts. You notice they never come loose from the factory only when us mere men put them back together again.

This is the way Ive done everyone for the last many eons of Savage building.
After you bust the factory torque it will be easy peasy after that of course.

Sounds easy. I weigh about 170 and that handle was torqued at about 500 ft. lbs. Not enough lead in my azz to break it loose. It did finally give way!!
