My girlfriend just bought an edge in 7mm-08 for deer season. I guess I'll get to see how it shoots today. Kind of excited to see if it can replace the stevens 200

Let us know how it shoots!

I won a Rem. 700 SPS chambered in 7mm-08 and I have absolutely no complaints. I shoot Remington CORE LOKT 135g bullets out of mine and can shoot some very impressive groups at 50 yards

I meant to take some pics if the grouping but we had limited amount of time to shoot so I didn't. Either was I was pretty impressed with the rifle. The stock which I thought was ugly is actually pretty ergonomic, it has a pretty smooth bolt as well, and the best thing is how light it is. Extremely lightweight, trigger wasn't sloppy either. All in all a great buy

I was kind of scared to shoot it at first, wasnt real sure how it was going to feel, I was told that that it kicks harder than a 22-250 but I have also shot a 270 and I was told if I can handle a 270 that this 7mm-08 would be a breeze. My first time shooting it I was a lil nervous about the recoil. But all in all I love the gun and can't wait for deer season to roll around and drop one!

I think getfoxy likes the 7mm-08 he wasnt to sure how it would do, but all in all he likes it, and is thinking about getting one himself now. lol

Lol I don't blame him. I would definitely say its a recoil friendly gun (check out the thread about the 7mm08 around here somewhere).

Best of luck with the gun for the upcoming season and many, many after

Okay will do, like I said, I think we was over all really impressed with it! lol, Now if I can just get him to reload for me!
