I have one in 308 Win. I have done nothing to mine, but
replace the trigger with a Rifle Basix(now out of production)
and have it set to about 14 oz. pull force. I also added
a sling kit, which I believe is now also out of production.
I never felt the need to bed mine, since I have a Barnes
130 gr. TSX/Win748 load, running at 2800 FPS(measured),
at .5 MOA. I thought about getting a laminated stock for it,
but just never got around to it. Not exactly a long range
scope, but I have a Burris 2-7x on it, and shoot out to 200
yards, for deer season practice.
Not sure about the .243 Win version, but the 308 Win, has
violent recoil. I have three Warne Maxima rings on the
scope, and still can't hold the scope tight. I have tried
just about every ring known to man, and the scope walks
counter clockwise. At the beginning of the season I reset
the reticle plum and by the end of season, it has walked
somewhere from 1/16th to 1/8th inch CCW.
Even with this issue, I like my Striker. I have thought
about re-barreling it in 260 Rem., with a heavier contour
barrel, and maybe act on getting a laminated stock...Or maybe
just keep it as is. It shoots so well, I hate to mess
with it.

P.S. When shopping scopes, you will need an ELR(Extended Eye
Relief) scope. That will limit your choices,
