I bought an ar upper with a scheels paragon hunter ontop of it and can't find much information regarding it. It is a 6x16x56mm with mil-dot reticle. Anyone have any experience with this house brand?

i havent used scheels scopes, but ive used their brad boots and stuff and thought they were ok, biggest thing with that is if you ever have a problem bring it back to scheels and they will give you a new one, lifetime warrenty on scheels outfitter brand.

Can't speak for the scopes but I have a pair of binocs from them I bought probably 8 years ago, still going strong. They were fairly expensive, I think around $400, but a buddy and I compared them side by side in a deer blind one evening with his swaros and they weren't that far off, if at all. At least to our eyes. I liked the warantee also, haven't needed it yet. One of the better buys I've made.

I bought one, took it back. Would not hold zero. Also, was told that glass was made by Nikon.....then another sales person told me it wasnt. Whatever. I dont buy from Scheels anymore. Over priced and poor(knowledge)customer service. Wont take a Scheeles gift card on their web site for payment and wont take and out of state check. Too bad, lots of nice stuff.......

I have one of their scopes, Ive had it for 3 yrs and have had great luck with it. It is my go to scope/gun combo for night hunting because it takes very little to see through the scope. I choose this over my nikons and nighforce believe it or not. Most of this choice is because the scheels scope goes down to 6x zoom, my nikon also goes to 6x but i prefer the scheels scope at night. My nightforce starts at 12x, it works but i need quite a bit of moon light ot make it work very well at night.
