Scope choice

Y’all keep talking about low light capabilities and even your cheaper scopes today will have you capable of shooting well before and after legal light. I use a rifle for culling does and have to set a vibrate alarm on my phone for actual daybreak and the 30min after sunset to stay legal. I can see WAY past legal times and that’s even hunting in cover with very little ambient light.

Depends on where you are. Here in SC we can legally hunt deer up to an hour after sunset. That's when you can start to tell the difference in quality glass and coatings.

Yup and clarity was the other thing I mentioned with better quality scopes. Aids in target identification in thick cover. Anti glare capabilities is another benefit with better coatings. For me I'd rather have better glass quality. I have cheaper scopes, but I'm replacing them as money allows. In the long run it's actually cheaper to buy a better quality scope from the get go. Especially on a more expensive rifle.
