Scope for Colt HBAR Elite

Hey guys,

I was contemplating getting a Bushnell Elite 3200 10x 40mm scope for my AR-15 (Colt HBAR Elite 24'' heavy barrel). Is 10x going to be enough magnification for me? The .223 is pretty much a 300 yard gun so I thought this would probably be plenty of magnification. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

On my calling ARs I use the Leupold 1-4X and think it is plenty of power. It is rarely set above the lowest power, whick is closer to 1.5 power than 1.0.

Unless you are going to shoot PD's, it will work just fine.
