Scope mount for a ruger gp-100

I was hoping some one might know a little bit about the ruger gp-100 revolvers. I have the 4" gp100 and i would like to have a red dot scope for it. the problem is thatthe only mounts i can find are for 6" barrel. Do they make one for the 4" model? Thanks lee
 
Best I can say is check at Midway and Brownell's. They may have one. Does the GP 100 mount go on the barrel or the frame? If it's frame mounted it may fit the 4 inch model as well as the six inch model. Many handgun scope mounts attach in place of the existing adjustable sights and barrel length isn't an issue with them.
 
i know they make one cause i was looking at one ordering one there for a while. the name reminded me of B-square but dont think it was them for some reason i thought it started with an A.
 
I think the B-square mount will work on a four inch barrel. It attaches to the rear sight mount hole and clamps on the rear of the barrel. You might want to ask them at B square since they will know for sure
