alot of guys are saying that we wish we did this or that to our light. remember we make this light for the coonhunting market and it just so happened that it turned out to be a light that works very well for the predator guys. it was named the PREDATOR LIGHT well before some of the guys that call saw it and said, this would be a very good light for the predator market. the chages that were make to this light was for the coonhunters. hopefully we will be able to get something made up, purposely for the calling market.

tony, i tried calling, but your phone is not working. pm me your address where you want it sent, unless you want to wait till the expo.......lol.

What changes did you make from the Polaris miners light to the Predator light other than boosting the Lumens to 8500 from 3500? What adaptions did you make for the Coon hunting market? It has no modifications in the light housing or bracket mounting system of the light from the Polaris other than the color of the dye used in the housing. It is simply a boosted repackaged Polaris miners light? It would be nice to have an actual dedicated "Predator Light" with it's own mounting system for hunting rather than relying on the existing do all "miners spring clamp" mounting system. A scope mount with a female spring clip receiver is what your answer for what you call "designed for the calling market"???A wired micro switch to the forearm of the gun to control the Hi/Lo on/off would be a great start in making this a true " PREDATOR LIGHT" Then dedicated mounting system other than the existing miners mount....

I think if we all have a little patience, they will come out with more options in the future. I personally like the light, and have no problem adapting it to my hunting style.

Everyone is certainly entitled to their own opinion, but until recently most predator hunters have always adapted other products to fit their needs until the somewhat recent explosion in popularity.

I asked opinions of several members on this site before ordering. Ordered a light last Friday, to try, and received it on Monday. Great service! I have tried the light the last couple of nights works just like others have said. I placed an order for a scope mount today, it gives me more options.

Last weekends take for the WNY Predator hunt, two nights in 0 to -10 degree weather. Light performed flawlessly and never died.
