Scope mount help

I have an old 10/22 (serial # under 125000) and am wanting to scope it. What kind of mount should I use? Are they the same for the older guns?

Two types readily available. Weaver style and 3/8" dovetail. You can get fancy picatinny rails but they are quite a bit more expensive.

I'd take a hard look at the Power Custom base, it's one of the most recommended bases for the 10/22. There's also the imfamous 10/22 hump that causes major headaches for those unaware of it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif

I use the Picatinney rail type. Much better in my opinion.
