I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on these scopes? I am consdidering purchasing the 3x9x50mm but don't want to yet w/o a few more positive replies. Thanks.

I have three of them, 2 with Nikoplex reticles and 1 with the BDC, and love them. They have very clear optics that work great in low light conditions. I also have the buckmaster and Monarch series as well. I gave up my luey's and now only use Nikons, or Bushnell 4200 series, they are the best deal for the money IMO.

Best scope for the money currently out there. Very clear and gather alot of light. Plus you can sell them and get back at least some of your money. Most cost effective scopes cant even be given away.

I agree good scope for the money. They also offer it in camo, which not everyone does.
I use a 3-9x40 on my 1187 slug gun. I was looking at an 8 point in low light the other night. Without the scope, I could see deer and antlers. When I looked through the scope at 5 power, I was impressed how well I could see him. Very good light transmittal for the price I say. And as far as I can tell, it's stood up to the recoil from my 12 gauge, so I'd say it's pretty well made.

I also have two of them on my rifles, good scope for the money just hope you dont have to send it in. Nikon takes forever to get them back to you.

I sent one in a few years back and it took about nine months to get it back. Now I have a spare for another rifle.

I have the 3X9X50 and love it. Seems to be very clear, and positive stops. Thought it was a great deal for the money!

I have a 2-7 prostaff on my AR and my buddy has a 3-9 on his 250-3000 they are, IMO, better than the VX-1 I had on my 30-06

Grunt,

I don't own a Pro Staff, but if you are looking for
something with greater magnification than 3-9x, then
let me recommend the Nikon Buckmaster SF. I have a
Monarch(5.5-16.5) that really did not impress me, when
compared to my Bushnell 4200 Elite, and even my 3200 Elite.
But on the STRONG recommendation of a few folks, I gave
the Nikon Buckmaster 6-18x SF a try, on a Savage 16FSS,
in .204 Ruger, that I purchased for a walking varmint
rifle. This scope is IMPRESSIVE. I need a scope for
a Howa 1500 Varminter, that I won, and Santa has been
told that I REALLY want another Buckmaster 6-18x SF.
If Bushnell would come out with more models, with a side
parallax adjust, I would probably stick with Bushnell,
but until they do, I will be buying Nikon Buckmasters.

The "Side Focus" adjustment takes a cumbersome adjustable
objective and makes it much more practical for a hunting
scope, where quick setup is necessary.

Same as above I have 3x9x40 prostaff on my tc encore muzzleloader and have had it on there for 3 years, have never touched it holds zero great holds up to riding in the rack on tha ATV, and the occasional slip and fall while walking, Also very good low light visibility. Have another on a 22 mag same report although that gun sits in safe alot never a minutes trouble with nikon.
