Scope rings advise please

Looking to buy a pair for Weaver/Picattiny bases.
Which are good quality brands, most popular? Not the ones that sell at Cabela's and/or BassPro.

I have the weaver quadlocks on 2- 270s a 243 and a 22-250 and about to put a pair on my 30-06 I like them and they are not expensive at all. Some other may not like them but I have not had any problems with them. Hope this helps and the ones tunered mentioned above are great have had them on other guns that I have sold kind of wish I would have put cheaper rings on the guns now. Oh well.
 
Burris Signature Zee rings are really nice. I have a few sets and I like them a lot. They have a plastic insert that self aligns and does not leave ring marks on your scope.

There are Zee rings and Signature Zee rings. The Signatures have the plastic aligner.

The Signatures are probably the best design rings ever made.
Sure saves on lapping rings, which is a royal PITA.
 
Thank you very much gentlemen; now that I have a pool of manufacturers I can make my choice, definitely a horizontally split design.
