Scope with target turrets

Ok I need a little bit of input on my next scope choice. Here is what I want from the new scope. 1 target turrets(mostly elevation)2 to return to zero reliablely. 3 Power rang 4-12ish. It will need to be in the $500-$600 range. I dont want a bdc type.

There are a couple of used Leupold Mk 4 a bit over your price but fine scopes and used so reasonable.

I think these are as close as you will come to ultra reliable tactical target knobs.

You might get more meaningful responses if you gave us more information. To what ends will said scope be used?

i'm sure theres a couple, but return to zero reliability and $5-600 don't usualy go together.

I have a Leupold VX-II 6-18x40 with turrets and it returns to zero reliably. One thing about it is that the clicks aren't true 1/4 MOA, so you do have to shoot your drops so that you have the real values. I think sometimes ballistics programs like JBM are real close to being true, but the scope doesn't track perfectly so it makes the program look false.

I know it might have been wish full thinking to find one in that price range but I figured I would see if there was something out there. The scope will be used on a 221 fireball and I use it for all my varmint hunting. I want to be able to dial up and down for smaller hard to hit targets. I can handle yotes out to 300 with out having to change any thing. My budys and I do alot of egg shooting and stuff like that.

that mueller apt i reveiwed earlier in the week returns to your set zero fairly well. also good clicks both audiable, and tactile.

Leupold also makes some FX3 scopes in fixed 12x and fixed 6x that have target knobs in your price range. Also the custom shop at Leupold can add covered target or M1 tactical knobs to most of their scopes.

700, These are just considered Tall turrets, not Target turrets.. I have the in on this stuff, submitted my FFL, and now I get dealer prices, and dealer info..
