Scoping a USSG MP94 combo rifle/shotgun

I just ordered an MP94 12 gauge/.223 combo gun. Will use it for coyote, turkey and general truck gun. I'd like to put an illuminated reticule scope on this gun, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Here is just a reminder, the scope rail isn't a normal size. You will have to find some rings that will fit it.

That is the best coyote gun ever made, for my hunting style. The only down fall I have found with this gun is it's heavy. When I first got mine, the best I groups I could get with the rifle was about 2-3 inch. But after a 100 or so rounds, it will shoot about 3/4 inch groups.

I hope you enjoy yours as much as I have mine.

The new ones have Weaver bases on them. The new Leupold VX-R in 1x4 should be great. On 1x you should be able to use it like at Red Dot with both eyes open and 4x should be great to 300yrds plus on coyotes. I have a Leupold VX-II 1x4 on my Combo gun and it works great for me. I have aa Elite 4200 1.25x4 on another gun and it has an Ill. Dot also.

Thanks for the help guys. According the the manufacturers web site this gun comes with an 11mm dovetail or picitinny rail. I have this on order, never even seen one.

Anyone know anything about this scope:

Mueller Optical 2-7x32mm Multishot Waterproof Riflescope

I used the Millet Steel rings on mine. Only problem is they are windage adjustable. Just takes a little more tuning. These are heavy duty combo guns, mine is built like a tank.
