Hello everyone. Long time reader, first time poster. I have been reading about these homemade callers and I am wondering about power supply. I saw a fella use an ammo can to house his caller. If one was to was an ammo can would it be better to use a larger battery? One of the concerns I have read about is getting distortion with too low of maH battery. I have found through some searching a 12v 7.0 AH battery. Do you all think this one could work or will it be a waste of time? web page

If your caller is setup for 12 volt system, that battery would make a dandy power supply. You could call every day, all day for a week between charges. The down side is the 5 pound weight of the bugger. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
