I bought a few boxes to start out my new 22-250 on and they shoot MAGNIFICENT... 55 gr Spitzer Boats, Does any one know the powder charge/brand in this ammo so I can get my loads as close to these as possible? I have the bullets in bulk, but I am new to the 22-250 so I have no Idea where to start... If I can't get the data I may just keep shooting factory out of that rifle (for the $18.99 a box I could live with it!)as it is getting around 1.5" groups at 200 regularly... with a few falling under an inch and a few over 2 here and there.

3/4 M.O.A. should be easy to duplicate with a decient rifle.

You will not be able to get the powder they use - companies by powders with bulk numbers and burn test them for each lot. It's not that it's a secret powder, or anything magic - just that they do it differently.

You should be able to duplicate it with powders in the mid burning range speed - like 4895, Varget, H-380, etc.

Get yourself a loading manual.

I guess I didn't realize they did things that much differently! I have a few manuals I will have to brew up a few batches with the basics and go from there..
