SENTURY SAFE

I have a Sentry Safe. They're entry level safes. It's average for it's price range, it will keep the kids out, and probably deter an inexperienced thief.
The sheet metal on the sides is pretty thin, the door is modular, it will not stop a thief who knows what he's doing.
As far as the fire rating goes, look at how many minutes it is rated for. I think that if you have a full blown house fire, total destruction, your guns won't survive.
And if you don't bolt it to the floor, the thief will just haul it away and open it later.

As for fire rating, I wouldnt concern youself too much... Ive been around several house fires with liberty, fort knox and an armory safe, where the contents were not burnt up, but the property was ruined by smoke and rust. The moisture is sucked out of everything in hot fires and rust sets on almost immeadetly...

I believe that the real value in a gun safe is with theft protection and keep kids/unauthirized people away from them... Imho
