Stop being a tight wad and buy some new boots.

I have tried shoe goo, epoxy, contact cement and others.

Worked for a bit but then gave way.

I don't even bother anymore and just get new boots.

Saves alot of headache, at least for me.

Good luck, Jay.

Hunting boots rarely last me more than 6 months so I regularly repair them. I put Gorrila glue on the sole of a boot, not only did it last longer than the rest of the boot it re-water proofed it! DO NOT use liberal amounts, the glue grows as it dries kind of like foam in a can. BE sure to hang the boot to dry rather than set it on something. If the glue gets on another surface your boot will be there permanently!!!!!!!!!!!! Turst me on this one!

AGREED. Gorilla Glue is the cat's meow as far as I'm concerned. It will fix most anything that you care to put it on. But like Glenn said ... it expands a large amount as it cures. Use it liberally.

Jay - Use the kind that your local shoe repairman will use when you drop your boots off for repair.

I wear Red Wing Sportman boots to hunt in. When I was land surveyor I'd burn through a couple pairs of what most people consider expensive work boots in a year. Got sick of throwing money away so I popped for a pair of Redwing Sportsmans. When I finally wore out the vibram soles they went in for a resole and I got a second pair. I'm no longer a land surveyor so all they get used for is hunting, but I'm sure the first pair will be warn out one of these days and have to be replaced, I'm sure the price of a new pair will absolutely scare me to death. I love my Redwings

Why not let a PRO fix um? (shoe repair shop)
Most likely would be less of a burden if left to them that knows.
If your Old Boots really mean that much to you, or have some
kind of sentimental value and you just can't bare to part with them.
I'm sure you have your reasons for asking. And that's all good.
Heck, my Neighbor, last year tried to re-roof his own Garage,
even rented a hot tar pot to do it. WELL ~~~~~~ He no longer
has a Garage to even worry about! (guess you know what happened)
I was just curious is all, >>>>>>>
But Hey ~~~ What do I know ?
