It works unbelievably well in steep terrain. I can shoot up and down hill and it takes less than 5 seconds to adjust it. All you need to do is turn the center black knob, and the whole thing pivots in the round cradle. It is actually ingenious. I have had several friends shoot from it, and they really like it.
If you go to the Hart & Sons web site, and look up "The Ultimate Tripod" you can easily find it. I give you my word that it is a Cadillac for shooting ground hogs, and it is rock steady. Not flimsy at all, and unbelievably adjustable. Tom.
