Shooting House Plans

We use the shooting houses/tower stands on my lease in AR and I am wanting to build my own, I have hunted from others for the last several years and think I know some changes that I will make on my. Anyway, does anyone have any plans or tips for building one of these. I can weld but it will be a pain(dont have welder and would have to borrow one) so the majority of it will be built out of wood.

What size do you want to build?

One thing I do to make them lighter is to rip 2X4s for structure. I use these everwhere but the corners.

I have also seen another economical and lightweight tactic. Build an open frame and buy a heavy synthetic fabric and staple it to the frame for cover. Works very well.

i know it sounds bad but it might be cheaper to buy one. i built 2 new 4'x4' blinds last summer and they ended up costing about $140 a piece but the price of plywood has doubled since then.
